Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is located in southwestern Uganda, nestled in the Virunga Mountains along the borders of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). It is part of the larger Virunga Conservation Area, which includes Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park and DRC’s Virunga National Park. The nearest town is Kisoro (about 14 km away).
