Situated in western Uganda, Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) spans the districts of Kasese, Kamwenge, Bushenyi, and Rukungiri. It lies between Lake Edward and Lake George, connected by the famous Kazinga Channel, and is framed by the Rwenzori Mountains to the north. The park is easily accessible from Kampala (5-6 hours’ drive) and is close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
