Augusto Travel Uganda Limited

Welcome to Augusto Travel Uganda Limited (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our safari and travel services in Uganda. By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.  

Booking & Reservations

– A non-refundable deposit (typically 30-50% of the total cost) is required to confirm your booking.  

– Full payment must be made at least 4 days before the tour departure date, unless otherwise agreed.  

– Bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a reservation at our discretion.  

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation by Client:

More than 4 days before departure: Partial refund (excluding deposit).  

Less than 4 days before departure: No refund.  

Cancellation by Augusto Travel:  

In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political instability), we may offer an alternative tour or a full refund.  

No refunds for unused services due to late arrival, early departure, or voluntary changes during the tour.  

Travel Documents & Health Requirements

– Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport, visa, vaccinations (e.g., Yellow Fever), and travel insurance  

– Augusto Travel is not liable for denied entry due to improper documentation.  

Changes to Itinerary

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or logistical issues.  

Any additional costs due to changes will be communicated and borne by the client.  

Liability & Responsibility

– Augusto Travel acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (hotels, transport, etc.).  

– We are not liable for loss, injury, delays, accidents, or damages beyond our control.  

– Clients are responsible for their personal belongings and safety during the tour.  

Insurance

Travel insurance (covering medical, cancellation, and evacuation) is mandatory.

– Clients must provide proof of insurance before departure.  

Force Majeure

– We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control (e.g., war, natural disasters, pandemics).  

Complaints & Disputes 

– Any complaints must be reported immediately to our guide or office.  

– Unresolved disputes shall be settled under Ugandan law in Ugandan courts.  

Privacy Policy

– Personal data collected will be used only for booking purposes and not shared with third parties without consent.  

Acceptance of Terms

By booking with Augusto Travel Uganda Limited, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
